VVD, the Dutch People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, is a liberal party which started in 1948. It does not aim at a certain ideology. The party is open for everybody who is convinced that freedom, responsibility, tolerance, social justice and equality of all people ought to be the basis of each community.

I am a member of the VVD since 1986. At the end of the eighties and since 1998 I am active in local politics. From March 1998 until September 2003 I was member of the borough council for VVD. I left the council in 2003, because of too large irregularities, which I could not protest against from within the council. My local community is Hillegersberg-Schiebroek. |
